Noisy Summer: The Summer of 2003

I don’t have much to say about the summer of 2003 so I’ll just say this…

I had not previously listened to Dashboard Confessional on purpose but now that I have paid attention to “Hands Down,” I have to admit that, if I were a teenager in 2003, it would have made it onto to so many mixtapes for all of my hypothetical unrequited crushes. Probably right next to “Chesterfield King” to really hammer the point home.

Also, please enjoy “Mighty Little Man” which is the result of what happens when the former human co-host of Blues Clues teams up with the Flaming Lips producer to make an indie rock album.
